| Warren
is an exceptional vocalist and bassist from Boston who has
shown amazing prowess in his rendering of Hindustani music.
Warren began his study of khyal with Smt. Kalpana Mazumder,
a disciple of Pt. Usha Ranjan Mukherjee of Calcutta. He studied
the traditions of the Indore gharana with her for eight years.
He has also studied with the great Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, before
moving to Pune to study with Pt. Shreeram G. Devasthali, where
he studied for over a decade. |
