Playing for the Planet: Warren Senders’ set
When I first got the idea for the “Playing for the Planet” concert, I knew instantly that I wanted to sing these three compositions in Raga Gorakh Kalyan. I will update later on with the complete text and meaning; tonight I just want to get this posted before I go to sleep.

Warren Senders – Voice; Akshay Navaladi – tabla; Priti Chakravarty – harmonium; Vijaya Sundaram – tamboura and vocal support. Our daughter is wandering all over the stage during the performance.
Wah! Kya Baat Hai! The tarana ended too soon!
It was a lovely event and I enjoyed listening to everyone as much as I enjoyed playing in it. Thanks for posting the video.
truly beautiful. Thank you for sharing this, Warren.
I really like the interplay, both tonal and rhythmic, between the voice and the harmonium. They are not together in an intriguing way. I’m very tired as I listen, and I find myself feeling drowsy and mellow, with a faint smile on my face. I would like to know the connection between your hand movements and traditional dance. I don’t think I could ever really understand this music. I think I will always just let it wash over me as I’m doing now.
